I really like the new administrative page that allows for user/1 (and menu per role administrators) to not always have all menu items visible, regardless of role or permissions. However, I think all of the menu items should be visible to user/1 and menu per role administrators on the menu's configuration screen.

Currently, only the menu items that user/1 can see on the frontend is what is visible to configure on the backend. This doesn't make sense. All menu items need to be available to be configured.

I agree. I wasted half an hour trying to figure out where some of my fields went. It didn't click at first that I had just unchecked to not show always for admin because I wouldn't expect that to hide it from me on the menu admin page. :-/

I think those are the exact same menus. This means when we go to a menu administration screen, the module show shut itself down. That's easy enough to do. It also means these items will appear in the regular menu. That may also look somewhat strange, although I guess much more practical than what we have now...
