Based on everything I have read, coder does a fairly good job of identifying issues. I think it would be nice for core to follow the advice and at least fix all of the critical issues identified. I'm attempting a small patch that will correct some but not all of those issues. It seems like smaller patches actually get committed and anything that covers too many items gets lost for months or years.
