Hi, I just tried out the 7.x version of Video Filter and can't get it to work. I tried to add a YouTube clip in the instructed url format (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVa_YB52lHs) but it doesn't show up after I save the node. When I check the source code it says the following:

I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this. Can you provide any more info?

Hi,
I have the same problem and see that the problem is the "Convert URLs into links" filter. I put Video Filter before Convert URLs and it works.

That's what I thought. I'm closing this, re-open if the issue isn't fixed.

I can't get Video Filter to work either. I definitely have the video filter above "convert urls" filter.
My link is [video:http://www.youtube.com/embed/hNzC5sjU0_w?rel=0] link.

When I look at the page source, or if I edit in plain text mode, it says:

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Gina

@GinaF, what other filters do you have enabled? You can't have any filtered after Video Filter that would strip object or iframe tags, and you can't have any before Video Filter that would mangle the URL in the token.

GinaF: Your problem is that we don't have support fro those kind of URL's (yet). Try this link instead: http://www.youtube.com/v/hNzC5sjU0_w?rel=0.

Thanks very much for your responses.
I have been able to get it working with the different link you gave me.

However, I'm trying to get rid of all the tools on the screen - if I put:
http://www.youtube.com/v/hNzC5sjU0_w?rel=0&modestbranding=1&cc_load_poli...
it just ignores all the "&" stuff after the link. Do you know of any way to get rid of all the branding & extra links on the video screen??
Many thanks
Gina

GinaF: Did you get that info about removing the logo from here? http://www.reelseo.com/remove-youtube-logo/

Yes, although I also got info from other web pages - can't remember what those ones are now though.

I'm having this problem too, but these solutions don't seem to work.

Vimeo videos work just fine. YouTube videos do not. Instead, the source code includes the comment: VIDEO FILTER - INVALID CODEC IN: [video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSVMK24V8LI]

Here are my troubleshooting steps:

My final troubleshooting step was to switch from the latest dev version (7.x-3.0+12-dev) to the recommended production version. That solved it. To me, that suggests there's a bug.
