I just installed version 7.x 1.0-beta1, followed the instruction in the handbook but nothing happened (i.e. no cache file is created, web pages do not include the "page cached by Boost" tag).
I tried to activate the debug setting, but nothing appears in watchdog.

I thought I might be missing something, but installing dev version solved everything

The snapshot dev release currently is actually older than 7.x-1.0-beta1 (which was released a few hours ago).

There are very few differences between the two. Could you re-test? (I could not reproduce, works fine for me)
