We have deployed Views Nivo Slider - and find that it works GREAT!

Except, we have a number of clients who are using IE8 and IE7 reporting faulty behavior. We investigated and confirmed, that in fact the Nivo slider doesn't perform properly.

Further investigation reveals that IE8 and IE7 jquery 1.6.x when installed works, and not jquery that is installed via jquery update.

We attempted to correct this problem by manually replacing targeted jquery files - well that caused a host of other errors, no surprise.

I'm curious - what corrective measures have others used to resolve this incompatibility issue?

Having the same issue. Fade effect does not work and manually moving thru slides does not work either in IE 8

Scott,

Was jquery 1.6.x the fix for this issue?

I'm having the same problem on my Drupal site in IE8.

Thanks,

John
