Since I know that you are working hard on organizing the documentation, I wanted to help a little bit. I just installed the 7.x-2.x-dev and the readme.txt, as well as most of the txt that are in docs are for the 6.x-2.0-alpha2. Since in drupal 7 cck module is integrated, they are not right.

* removing the CCK requirement
* added Ctools, Libraries and GeoPhP as requirement
* changed link to the D7 documentation
