Null Date Value not recognised in Views when using jQuery Countdown [#1530008]

I have a View field that is a Date which uses the jQuery Countdown format. The db shows its value is NULL but I get rendered the empty countdown matrix even though I'm asking Views to re-write empty field value with some text.

I have the same problem.

Intention 1:
When the Countdown is 0, i want to hide the field (NOT the View!)
The field-settings "Behavior if no results are available" --> "Hide if empty" doesen't works!

Intention 2:
When the Countdown is 0, i would like to replace it with text!
The field-settings "Behavior if no results are available" --> "No result text" / "The number 0 is interpreted as empty." doesen't works!

Hi,

i need more informations about this because this cant be a problem of this module. The current 7.x Version act only as field formatter and has no own views implementation. This means its possible that we had a issue at this point in the date field / date module.
