I am not sure if this helps at all with figuring this issue out but once I update to the dev and patched it to resolve the errors I receive this error message relevant to the field collection relationship I am trying to calculate a count on

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$count__field_collection_item_field_data_field_field_name__field_d in views_calc_table_total() (line 275 of ***/sites/all/modules/contrib/views_calc/theme.inc).

I tried to work out how to apply the change suggested in the Blank Result issue queue but looks like its already in place on the D7 dev version.

Any suggestions would be appreciated to help resolve this.
