Long preview does not accept custom text, and both long and short previews show font name only (which doesn't tell much about capabilities of the font).

Patch attached.

Includes a standard implementation of hook_fontyourface_preview(), removes the implementation of hook_fontyourface_view() (which does not exist in 7.x anymore).
