Hi, it is hard to exactly explain this issue again since I reported this more than a year ago, I obviously abandoned using this module for that project, and I don't have the time to try to reproduce it again. Since my guess is you guys doesn't have time either, I will try to guess what the problem is, and if that is not good enough, you can either close the issue or try to reproduce it.

So reading this module description I understand this module force the taxonomy pages to have a new view, and this can probably be customized in the taxonomy settings. However if the media gallery module have a view of a vocabulary, but this vocabulary is not listed in the taxonomies, it wont be possible to tell this module not to change that view.
