Hi, I have installed Kickstart Commerce 7.x-2.1 with the demo store.
When I try to search a product in kickstart via a phrase, I get no results.

I re-index everything and I tried to configure exposed filter here
admin/structure/views/nojs/config-item/display_products/page/filter/search_api_views_fulltext
but nothing happened.
I run cron manually and I tried again.... the result was "no results"

The phrase I use is "Commerce Guys Laptop Bag"

Did you update your default index configuration ? Is your index overriden ? Because our demo kickstart installation http://demo.commerceguys.com/ck/products?search_api_views_fulltext=Comme... returns a result for the same request.

Maybe the problem is caused due to memory limit 98M.

I 'll try to increase memory limit.

What about the display products view (Go to admin/structure/views/view/display_products/edit/) and open your filter, if you scroll down a bit you should see "searched fields", can you tell us what's inside ?

I tried with a clean kickstart install without demo but I have the same problem.
The site is full indexed ready!

Since this works on the demo hosted on our install (http://demo.commerceguys.com/ck/products?search_api_views_fulltext=Comme...), as well as locally, there's nothing more we can do to help you here. You will have to debug your setup and find where the problem is coming from.
jsacksick has given you some questions which might help you track the problem down.
