Currently all authcache cache entries have $cache->expiry = CACHE_TEMPORARY.
For my use case I would like to have a minimum cache lifetime so that caches aren't prematurely cleared.

znerol CreditAttribution: znerol commentedThis is a duplicate of #1936108: Make authcache work with minimum cache lifetime. Authcache 2.x integrates with the Cache Expiration module for this reason. I'm reluctant to change the behavior of the 1.x branch.
