Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
A few of the sites that I have imported seem to have problems with the renaming/migrate task.
If I import a site with the domain "example.com" and then migrate it to "otherexample.com" some of the references to the original sites folder (sites/example.com/files) remain in the database. Things like uploaded files or images referenced in nodes and blocks end up breaking because the file path has changed.
My question is: Am I missing a step when importing or is there a possibility there is something wrong with the original site prior to import? Thanks for any insight.

omega8cc CreditAttribution: omega8cc commentedIf you follow all site import how-to steps properly, it should just work, but there was a really pesky bug affecting all D7 sites, while D6 worked properly. It has been fixed in BOA-2.0.6: http://drupalcode.org/sandbox/omega8cc/1074910.git/commit/be4f0d8
