This is a suggestion to have the latest ctools module working with spark.

Under the recent logs we can find the "warnings" and "notices" related this image:

A bad experience will flow when changing layouts under panels and using its UI.

To solve it we must apply the suggested patch (http://drupal.org/node/1976864#comment-7330562).

Good catch thanks! I took the latest patch from the issue that ended up being committed, so we can remove with the next ctools upgrade.
