I seem experiencing issues with Switch Theme module and Shiny.
I don't have any problem with Seven theme, but if I enable Shiny I get the following UI mess ups:
1- admin theme showing admin data + background theme data
2- background theme (the one used by the website) is not active and data is displayed wrongly.
Unfortunately I don't have much time to test more this as to recover I need to follow a sequence of theme switching, enabling/disabling in order to go back to normal: my theme + Seven.
Anybody experienced the same?

I'm trying to test this, but it looks like it only applies to the front end theme, which would ruin your front end if you selected Seven as well (or probably any other admin theme).

I'm not changing anything to Shiny using the Switch Theme. It's just having all of this included causes some mess up between UI themes.
With Seven as admin I don't have any issue.
