I installed Privatemsng and Privatemsng rules integration, but there will only be sent notifications when I send private messages to individual users, not when sending to members of a group.

How can I make it possible to send notifications to members of a role?

I have searched for a description of how I can solve this problem, but not found any.

I don't know if the Mass Contact module can be used for notifications but you can see its code..

You create categories based on your roles (e.g. Editors). Each category contains the list of users who belong to the selected role and this list is the recipients of your message.

The module has also a "Send as BCC (hide recipients)" field.
