Before I found FitVids I had the following modules installed:
- Drupal 7.15
- Video Embed Field 7.x-2.0-beta5
- Colorbox 7.x-1.3
- Colorbox Library version 1.3.20.1
- Libraries 7.x-2.0
Now I added FitVids 7.x-1.8 and the "jquery.fitvids.js" to my site, but I am seeing no effect.
I added the following class to the FitVids config:
".field-type-video-embed-field"
Still, nothing is resizing. Does FitVids work with the "Video Embed Field" and "Colorbox"?
Cheers,
Paul

paul_constantine CreditAttribution: paul_constantine commentedWell I got the newest dev release and still nothing is working.
If I try to set the width to 100% in the video embed field settings, the videoplayer appears on a white background and stretches across the browser top. So that's not working.
If I set the width and height in pixel it is either too large for a smartphone or too small for a laptop.
Do you have some kind of documentation on how to set all parts of this system (video embed field, fitvids, colorbox) ... oh yes, on top of that my whole site is set to https, an some component produces mixed content warnings when a video plays.
Best wishes,
Paul

paul_constantine CreditAttribution: paul_constantine commentedOkay, trying to simplify this.
I've taken the colorbox out of this for now. Just trying to make this work with Video Embed Field and FitVids.
Still, nothing is resizing. I put the following in the video container box:
#player
.full-frame
Now the Video Embed Filed teaser preferences have no settings for width and height. And the video upload node display settings use the "videoplayer" and "teaser" settings.
Running out of options here.

Without the colorbox, but who needs it anyway?
Thanks for the support,
Paul
