In the CSI project we developed the IIB module to hold interactive administration tasks. http://drupal.org/project/iib.

I think it would be nice to join efforts to place the administration tasks in the same place. The module itself is extremely basic. Very little css/js right now. It is undergoing a UX review but the api/concepts will not change.

Just tossing it out there as an idea.

Neill, it'd be great if you and Gábor could sit down and talk about this at DrupalCon. I don't forsee us having time to evaluate iib before then, but we definitely want to do things in-line with what LSD is doing wherever possible, esp. if it makes sense for Drupal core.
