Hi. Following the code freeze, I did my duty and upgraded a test site to drupal CVS HEAD and played around and discovered a bug in user.module. I posted a bug report (http://drupal.org/node/view/5965), and some kind soul (TDobes) posted a patch from weitzman's sandbox. It's in the patch queue now, and so it stays.
The reason I'm asking is, I've got a fix for a problem in image.module that depends on this patch, and I don't know whether or not to submit the patch. Is there some kind of process for acceptance or rejection of patches in a timely manner by people with permission to apply patches to CVS HEAD, or does it pretty much depend on the whim of the gods?
