Hello all,

IMCE 6.x-2.0-rc2
Chrome 8.0.552.224

I bring up the IMCE File Browser window, click Upload, then Choose File. My local Windows file browser appears; I select an image file, click OK, and — Chrome hangs. The same works perfectly in IE 8 and Firefox 3.6 (current versions).

I'm new to IMCE, and there seems to be no answer in the issue queue. How do I go about debugging this?

I'm on a Mac, using Chrome 8.0.552.231, and it's working. Does upgrading Chrome help?

Chrome says it's up to date.

Sounds like an issue with chrome.

Do other tabs work OK when chrome hangs?

Everything freezes: the File Browser popup, the tab containing the Drupal "add page" page which includes CKEditor, even a third window showing a different site.

So nobody else has problems with Chrome and IMCE 6.x-2.0-rc2? Then it's obviously a local bug and I'll just keep my fingers crossed that none of our users will encounter it.

No problem with Chrome 8 on Windows.

Hey UTAN_dev -- did you ever figure this out? I experience this on 1 Win7 machine and not on any others. It's definitely more broad than just IMCE.
