When a 4x3 gallery contains enough media to expand to a 2nd page, the 2nd page will display 12 empty bullet points. Seemingly to represent the 12 media on the first page, since the first page also get bullet points equal to the amount of media on the 2nd page. When the bullet points become this many, they take up a lot of page space and makes it look like there should've been something there.

The first page inserts the bullet points below the media being displayed, and the 2nd page inserts the bullet points above the media being displayed.

This is when using media gallery from current head.

Ao

I think that this may be a duplicate of #1006136: Colorbox pre- and post- links are visible in some themes . If so, then there is a simple solution attached to that issue.

Indeed, I do think his issue is a duplicate of mine and his patch fixed it. Brilliant.
