After updating to the latest dev-version I spotted a problem with the date field.
It is not displayed anymore.

In my case I have the following:

horizontal tabs group
+ horizontal tabs item
- field date: field_date // Date // Text Field with Date Pop-up calendar

The dev-version from dec 16th works fine.

I just installed latest dev from date field, and created the same tab structure like in your example. But everything works fine here.
Are you also working on latest dev from date field?

Same as zuuperman, works here. You would indeed have to work with all latest versions.
Feel free to reopen this issue if you still have the problem

zuuperman, what exactly can do i have to do? i tries it in a fieldset with date, datestamp, datetime and select and input fields.
Everything works here.
