I've got the module installed, imported users, tried to go send an email and can't see where that would be located.

Does this module just collect the emails? I was looking for something to replace http://drupal.org/project/mass_contact until it has a D7 version.

If this is just a place to collect/store emails then it's likely not that useful to me. I'm also interested in being able to auto import from the user list, especially by role.

Anyways, I didn't get any errors with the D7 version so that's a good thing.

Better docs would be appreciated for how this would be used and in what context.

Subscribing

This module allows people to subscribe to a mailing list via a block, it's a simple Name/Email option that can easily be reproduced with the Webform module and with no limitations.
I would like to know if we can use this module in a 'deeper' sense like letting users to unsubscribe as well and be able to send emails to those registered, etc...

a short Readme or an install guide would help.

I have the module installed but I don't see any administration area for it anywhere. I assumed it would create a block but that doesn't appear to be the case. Any documentation would be wonderful. Thanks.

Ok, I discovered that the admin interface for this module is under Structure. I jumped the gun.

In case someone gets here. This project has been unattended for several years. A few months ago I applied to keep it, since I developed the 8.x version, that is radically different from the 7.x.

The purpose of this module is to provide a complete subscription system by email. Each mailing list is defined by configuration, and the subscriptions are content entities that can be easily used in views or for any other purpose.

The module does not send emails, as it is not a newsletter system. If you need it, you can easily combine it with the recommended module views_send, creating a versatile newsletter system.
