Hi,
I tried drurpal for 10 days , ver 4.7.4 I find it hard to use, everything must be done even for
basic use, like upload image and image_assist modules, and they do not work properly.
the design is strict.
I'm not a php programmer and find it difficult to use.
I've installed EE after sow the forums talking about it and find it much more advanced system then drupal.
still it is not open source, not big community like drupal.
what should I use?
can I use drupal ver. 5 is it ready?
Thanks
Eran

Eran, Since you're not a php
Eran,
Since you're not a php programmer and you have image requirements, it's probably best to go with a CMS that works more "out-of-the-box". In my experience, Drupal is difficult to use for non-php people, and the learning curve is very high. Drupal 5 will be a huge improvement on the learning curve, but you will still be limited in the area of image management. Most everyone I know who have a successful image management implementation in Drupal spent a lot of time engineering it.
Drupal's customizability for developers blows every other CMS away, and the fact that they keep the core components simple and (allowing administrators to add functionality only as needed) is huge. However, image support--which will probably come in the form of a module--is lacking at this point and will probably continue to be lacking even in Drupal 5.
Just my thoughts from my experience.
