Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Create a gallery and select the publishing option "promoted to front page". Go to the front page and see a gallery teaser. View the HTML source and count the total number of opening DIV tags and the total number of closing DIV tags. They don't match.
As a result, when you make a View of gallery teasers, and display that view as a block in a sidebar, then on some themes, all your main page content moves into the sidebar as well.

if
statement to check for a different variable.Comment #2
