There are really two problems here. The first is that the "configure" link still doesn't show up on the Modules page when Nice Menus is activated. The second--and larger--problem is that when Nice Menus is activated, I can't get to the main Configure page at all. It sits for a minute and then gives me a 500 server error.

I'm sure the problem is with Nice Menus: This is a brand new fresh install of D7 with almost no other modules activated. The problem started as soon as I enabled Nice Menus, and disappeared as soon as I disabled it again.

I know it's only been released as a development beta and I should be patient. In the mean time I guess I'll check out the Superfish module, although I near Nice Menus is a lot, well, nicer. :-)

Settings page link added on the modules page with commit 95009c1d7f7. I can't reproduce the 500 error, that's likely a config issue on your side.
