Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
It would be useful to add to the Feeds home page, a link to the Contributed plugin modules page, where many enhancements and solutions can be found.

tterranigma CreditAttribution: tterranigma commentedI suggest that the project's page gets updated. The Background and Upgrade from FeedAPI sections don't seem necessary any more. Below is my suggestion for the project's page:
Import or aggregate data as nodes, users, taxonomy terms or simple database records.
Features
Installation
Install as any other Drupal module.
Documentation
You can enable any of the two included feature modules (features_import and features_news) to get a quick glimpse of what Feeds can do (you will need to have Features installed first). Also, read the documentation on how to start with your own imports. There are several screencasts available online both free and paid that you could use as well.
Modules that extend Feeds
For a better reference of contributed modules for Feeds, read the corresponding page of the documentation or use drupal.org's search.

This could use a review from twistor as well, so assigning this issue to him. I've no access rights to edit the project page. I guess I should consult febbraro for that. I have seen other issues that requested changes to the project page. So far I solved these issues by adding the requested notes to a release or to create a change record.
