Initial preview release of Commerce Kickstart v2.
Lots of work still to be done. We absolutely need your feedback!
Don't forget you can get support on drupalcommerce.org and post bugs and feedback in the d.o issue queue.
Also remember that this release is not meant to be used in production.
Updated to Drupal Commerce 1.3. Read its release notes for the full list of changes since Drupal Commerce 1.2. Remember to run update.php after updating!
This release fixes a critical issue on the module administration page. A subtle bug in core intersected with changes we have introduced in 1.5 to make the update information more useful for the distribution.
If you had issues with 1.5
If you had installed 1.5, it's possible that you inadvertently disabled all the modules directly required by Commerce Kickstart. To quickly re-enable them, follow this short procedure:
So, the idea to make version numbers match Drupal Commerce numbers was short-lived. Apparently you cannot have incremental releases below minor releasees (i.e. 7.x-1.2.2). We needed the update to Drupal 7.12, and actually the previous commit to update to Drupal Commerce 7.x-1.2 was to a disconnected HEAD. This update fixes both problems.
This release brings us up to date with Drupal Commerce 1.2 and attempts to peg the version numbers for Commerce Kickstart to the main Drupal Commerce project. The goal is questionable, as any one of our dependencies could make a release that forces us to put a new version of Commerce Kickstart out before we're ready to with Drupal Commerce, so perhaps it should've just been a 1.0. It's too late now, though!
Also fixed in this release is the default language property for products created for the example store content step and an update to the Views 3.1 release.
Update the d.o make file to use the latest Rules beta version.
Now that Commerce is properly restricting the completed orders of anonymous users, we need to make sure we enable the 'View own orders of any type' permission for anonymous and authenticated users.
Added some commented out developer modules to the .info file so you can simply uncomment them to aid in development using Commerce Kickstart.
The first beta release of Commerce Kickstart has been packaged to coordinate with Drupal Commerce 1.0-rc1. This is the quickest way to get up and running with Drupal Commerce and the easiest point of entry for new users. We'll make additional improvements to the example content options in this distribution in preparation for the 1.0 release by DrupalCon London.
Note: this is the same as the beta1 but updated to reference the latest version of Drupal core.
