Hi,

I want to use the per post setting so I can have separate galleries on a page. I am creating a view to get images as a field into a single page from various nodes. These seem to be all inserted with different rel gallery tags and I can not see a way to either get views or Colorbox to alter this behaviour.

The result is that despite what looks like a nice grid of thumbnails, each one is treated as a singular element for Colorbox. It works fine if I use the per page setting, but that would limit me being able to have several different galleries pulled from views on one page (ie if multiple blocks are put together etc).

Could I get some help with this issue please?

Thanks

Go to the Colorbox configuration page and set "Image field gallery" to "Per page gallery" and it should work the way you like.

Just tested it myself on a local dev environment and it seems to work as it should.

I'm working on adding a gallery id (rel atribute value) setting to the image field formatter. That way site builder will be able to set a custom gallery id for a specific field, not only a global setting like now.

Does "per page gallery" equal "per view" in the case of views?

@marktheshark yes, the page in this case is the whole page loaded in the users browser.

I created a view with embedded videos (youtube), but colorbox shows no previous/next links. Is this correct? I have it set to "per page gallery", does this apply only to images?

Sorry for mentioning D6 issue here, but just would like to know is there a way to replace rel="gallery-all" with rel="gallery-nodeID", in order to have inserted images included in per node basis gallery, grouped with other file fields?

@marktheshark Have you checked that #1564820: Gallery navigation buttons not displaying is not the issue?
