Everything works fine when adding an image to a new piece of content. If I then edit an existing content item, the UI no longer displays the 'browse server' button.

My setup is clean, virtually no other modules. I was using Ckfinder initially until I found it needed a license.
Thanks

I'm having the same problem, only my local server displays the browse server option, while my production server does not. I've downloaded all the latest upgrades and I still have this problem.

I discovered a solution to this issue based on the difference in installations on the two servers. Both have WYSIWG, WYSIWG bridge, and ckeditor installed, but the production server has the ckeditor module installed, while the local server does not, so I disabled the ckeditor module on the production server and it worked, now I see the browse server button, go figure.

Pls don't use WYSIWYG and CKEditor module enabled! it's make only conflicts, nothing else - u must choose what u want to use: WYSIWYG or CKEditor...

I closed this issue...

I am using CKEditor within the WYSIWYG module and need to be able to have the "Browse Server" button enabled for an authenticated user that will be doing all of the regular content changes. I gave them Filtered HTML permission while I use Full HTML, so I tried giving them the exact same text format permissions but it still will only show up on my main admin user account.

How do I get this ability to show up on all users? Is it some coding change that needs to be done, or is there as simple button or checkbox that needs clicked?

Thanks for any assistance.
