Will this module be released in future? Or just dev?

I have every intention to make this a full-fledged product. Just struggling to find time.

Also trying to figure out exactly what I can make it do, while keeping it simple. For some needs, Drupal for Facebook will be the right choice. For other needs, this module. Right now it's only able to do posting to facebook walls. Whether it can do more than that will depend on what facebook's APIs allow.

Hi Dave,

found this module today after a posted to "Drupal for Facebook" issue. Unfortunately also a dev release at the moment.

Great work! I'll waiting and take a look at the progress

I try to post blog entries or articles from Drupal site to a Facebook fanpage... So this module isn't a solution for me needs at the moment.

Maybe I should generate a view with the Drupal posts (for example flagged content) and import it to Facebook via RSS feed? ...

I found an old dev release, but actuall no releases at the project page... Any progress with your module?

Modest progress, however the plan is to take everything this module does, and include it in the next major release of module/fb. That would be 4.x.

I think fb module wouldn't be as simple as the Post to Facebook module?

Will the simple but useful functionality of posting to FB be released as a standalone module after all for those who need exactly that?

Thank you

Again, I expect over time this feature will be part of modules/fb. It won't be any more complex to configure than it currently is.

Until then (not sure how long it will be), use this issue queue for feedback, issues, etc.

Will you be posting a release (even only dev) on the module main page?

I guess the fact that one has to navigate to "all releases" to find the dev release does not render it clear to the visitor whether this module is to be used (for production sites) or not.

Thanks again

Status: Active » Closed (won't fix)

This module is deprecated. The 4.x branch of Drupal for Facebook now includes the features of this module, and will be better maintained.
