I have a taxonomy menu as primary links. Also I create a menu block with starting level set to 'secondary'. So when I click on top level term in primary menu - the block with the menu listing all terms under the parent appears.

This works ok if taxonomy 'menu path type' is set to 'Default'. But in this case I get a huge list of all terms under the parent as node title, which takes half of the page.

If I set taxonomy 'menu path type' to 'Vocabulary path' - the node title shows only the parent name, but the menu block doesn't appear.

How can I have both working?

I'm not sure if this is a 'taxonomy menu' or 'menu block' issue, so I guess I post this in both.

Hi Alex, I just created a similar issue, in which I solved the problem by modifying core (Just for testing purposes since hacking core is not recommended).

Would you be able to test my solutions to see if it addresses you issue? You have to modify the menu_tree_page_data in menu.inc (line 869). You can check out what I did by going to the link below with the issue I had created with the solution that appears to fix it. I am not 100% sure what kind of effect this has but at least it can help us to resolve the issue: http://drupal.org/node/1434710

Thanks for your reply, but I'm using megamenu now, it's really beautiful, check it out hobbyblob.com
