project_issue_file_review 6.x-2.4 contains (essentially only) #1107552: Make git patch application more robust and use git for patch application, so the testbots now use git to apply patches. This means that we can now do binary patches as well as full-move-and-copy patches, a big win for the issue queue.

I'd like to deploy this on Monday 4/11 if possible. I *think* I have adequate privs but not adequate process knowledge. Perhaps DamZ or somebody can school me.

Thanks,
-Randy

This is something we have to deploy on the test bots, right? If so, we need to build a new package.

Yeah, thanks to you I can do the package build and testbot deployment with no trouble. But there is one change that affects qa (in reality it's just one of the patches) but I'd rather use the formal correct deployment process than drop in a couple of patch files.
