Anybody have an idea on how to get Cufon to work for the caption in the slider?

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedhi. I am not to sure how the nivo slider works. The last time i tried that module it only took images. That was a while ago though. If you use views_slideshow this is possible.
When you create your view, add the title field ( Node title , or whatever if you maybe have create a custom setup ) then rewrite the output in the field option and place the title token between a custom id
You technically can leave that step out and just do a css decend to the title but i find that a bit cumbersome, so now you add "#slide_title" to the list in the cufon setting and select your font from the drop down.
If nivo slider can be added to a view then this should work just aswell. If not you just need to find the text element that holds that title and add that to the cufon settings

pontus_nilssonYou could also make a font-face alternative of your font. This way you don't need Cufon at all. Font face generator
