After installing Videojs on top of 'Video' module and the videojs library, I'm net getting any video displayed; the video node renders fine, just without any video.
According to ./admin/reports/status
, the videojs library is installed fine; in the content type display settings (./admin/content/node-type/video/display/basic
) I selected "VideoJS: HTML Video Player". At ./admin/settings/videojs
I don't see any relevant options that would need to be changed.
This behaviour occurs on Opera 11.10, Firefox 3.6.16, and Chromium 10.0.

VM CreditAttribution: VM commentedI can't reproduce this issue with the latest version of the module. Marking as such.
asb CreditAttribution: asb commentedThis issue is against the latest recommended release, and there is also another report for this. If the module is broken and won't be fixed (e.g. because it is abandoned or unmaintained), you might close this as "won't fix".
VM CreditAttribution: VM commentedI asked a question in #2 that wasn't responded to.
If I can't reproduce the issue it means I, or someone else aiding in supporting this module need more information from those experiencing the issue. Until #2 is answered. I am marking this again, as cannot reproduce and it can be reactivated when then information asked for is given.
Thanks.

asb CreditAttribution: asb commentedPardon me? You "asked a question" on July 22, 2011 at 7:52am, and closed the issue because that question "wasn't responded to" on July 22, 2011 at 9:38am, this is less than two hour laster.
Considering that the issue was initially posted on April 25, 2011 at 7:44pm, which is three months ago, and was last updated one month ago without getting any response from the maintainer, it is very weak style to close the issue two hours after submitting your question.
It might actually help if you could be a little more specific. This is a Drupal site, and of course some "js" is loaded in the header of the page's source. Please update the issue if there's any specific code you want us to look for.
Thank you!

VM CreditAttribution: VM commentedMy apologies. Considering this is the videojs.module issue queue it is true that I worked under the assumption that those in this issue would know to look for the js from the videojs.module considering that the issue is filed against the videojs.module.
For clarity: The js to look for is the js that he videojs module includes as that is the js that is required to trigger the player.
In reference to your gripes about the way I've chosen to mark this issue:
The time intervals had nothing to do with my choosing of the status. The gap was due to me installing Drupal 6.22, the videojs.module and it's dependencies and testing per the limited information provided in this issue. Thus the question was marked closed cannot reproduce because I couldn't reproduce it. It was marked as such per my understanding of the protocols & guidelines on status' for issues. I quote below for your review.
I marked it again in #5 due to your comment in #4 which offered "0" information for trying to sort out the issue. Rather it stated for me to mark as won't fix. Hence, the question in #2 was still unanswered and there was no further information provided by you in #4.
Note: I didn't create the issue status' or design the way they are to be used. I'm merely following the documentation to the best of my ability. I won't apologize if that rubs you the wrong way. I'm just trying to help in a queue that looked like it required help.
Thus, again marking as cannot reproduce (as that is the only status available that fits) until such time as the question is answered in #2 in an effort to help sort out the issue. It is being marked at can't reproduce because on a fresh install of Drupal 6.22 with this module and it's dependencies, I can't reproduce the issue.
Lastly, it looks to me at this time that I am the only person in the queue trying to aid. The andecdote don't bite the hand that feeds seems to apply here.

asb CreditAttribution: asb commentedThanks a lot for this most helpful comment. Why haven't I thought of that. If the module would work, I might even know how how the "js that he videojs module includes" would be supposed to look.
Probably I should better ignore further unconstructive and hostile comments by 'VM' to not waste even more time. Giving up on this issue and setting this to the appropriate status as the module does not work and maintainer does not respond at all to issue queue after three months.

the video.js file which is included in the videojs library which should have been downloaded separately.
I assume you downloaded the required library. The question asked is whether or not it is printing in the head tag.

Please choose the Player from the video settings.
asb CreditAttribution: asb commented@heshan.lk (#11): Thanks;
./admin/settings/video/players
allows to "map specific players to each video extension type" and offers dropdown lists with items like "HTML5 player", "Divx player", etc. Here I have selected "HTML5 player" for all video extension types. Also there is a radio button which allows to choose a HTML5 Player for the video extension types; there are two settings, labeled "Video JS", and "Video (Default)"; here I have selected "Video JS" for all video extension types as well.Comment #13
heshanlkyes, that's it
Comment #14
VM CreditAttribution: VM commented-edited to remove documentation suggestion-
the path in #12 is specific to the video.module and a change to the video.js module documentation wouldn't aid as users who do use videojs but don't use the video.module
Comment #15
asb CreditAttribution: asb commented@heshan.lk (#13): Why are you setting this again to "closed (fixed)"? I'm still neither getting any video displayed, nor any player controls; in #12 I just described the "video settings", as requested in #11. If this behaviour is to be expected and the module does not display videos, or does not show player controls, please leave the issue as "won't fix".

gagarine CreditAttribution: gagarine commentedLOL...
@asb check than video.js library is loaded before the the script of this module.
Perhaps you should close this issue and open a new one. This one as to much noise and stupid comment for nothing...
FYI I'm going to work on the D7 version her https://github.com/gagarine/videojs and try to make it more robust. Hopefully changes will be integrated back in the official repository.

Jorrit CreditAttribution: Jorrit commentedCould you please describe the problem and try the latest -dev releases of both Video and VideoJS.
Makor-1 CreditAttribution: Makor-1 commentedI tried the latest version of Video module and the lastest version of the VideoJS. For both of em i tried the latest dev version too. When i click the thumbnail of the video, i go to the node with the player, exept there is no player on the page. I tried with Flowplayer and it works fine but i want this to work. I tried all the possible configuration and nothing works...
