Hi,
I am the maintainer of a number of projects that somehow ended up in a state whereby a dev release does NOT get generated ever, even though further commits were pushed into the associated branch or master branch.
I'm talking outside a drush context here, just referring to the project pages themselves.
The projects exhibiting this problem
http://drupal.org/project/module_grants
http://drupal.org/project/revisioning
http://drupal.org/project/workflow_extensions
And the only recently created:
http://drupal.org/project/ip_geoloc
On the other hand, the following projects do not have this problem
http://drupal.org/project/cck_reference_filter
http://drupal.org/project/path_alias_xt
http://drupal.org/project/smart_menus
Thanks in advance for having a look!

RdeBoer.... comment removed by RdBoer.... no longer relevant.
Issue is still a problem.

The 6.x release, which had a recommended and -dev release before the Git migration doesn't autogenerate -dev releases on new commits. The 7.x release, started after the Git migration works as expected.
Thanks.

In the "Release identification" section at the top, the "Git branch" was listed as "Master". I changed this to "6.x-1.x" and saved the node. (Note: I'm now unable to change that setting when editing the release node. Oddly, that makes me hopeful that this was the underlying problem.)
Fingers crossed that the next -dev build will get me a proper 6.x-dev release... I'll update this issue when I find out.

Thanks.

RdeBoerWill try. Thanks!

RdeBoerNope. The Release Notification section is already set correctly in my case but dev-release do not get generated.

RdeBoerRemoved reference to problem b) as this turned out to be a red herring.

RdeBoerI've created a brand new project, IP Geolocation drupal.org/project/ip_geoloc, which also has the same problem: I can create official releases, but the dev releases don't get generated.
Could anyone please shed some light?
Much appreciated.

RdeBoerThink I've figured this out now.
