local.css file not visible by drupal

I have placed my css code to the loca.css file, uncomment (removed leading semicolon from ) the */
/* following line in your theme's .info file: */
/* ;stylesheets[all][] = local.css
and cleared cache, but still my page is without style. I placed in the page

Did I forget something ?

Any suggestion would be from great help.
