There is nowhere to post themes to share here so maybe this is as good a place as any?
I modified the green arrows theme a little and (unimaginably) named it silver arrows.
The green arrows have been changed and moved up a little and the slide arrows have been changed as well (both style and transparency).
I also added an if statement that will display the alt tag under the title tag in the overlay. To use, just enable both the title and alt fields for your images. The title field will show up above and the alt field will show below in the overlay area. Check out the screen shot for an example.
To add the theme, just unzip it next to the green arrows folder in the gallerystyles folder. It will now show up in the theme picker for your gallery.
This is a start. Perhaps more people would like to share?

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commentedThanks MrPhilbert!
Some things that need work/fixing before considering to commit this:
1. sprite.svg in source directory is the one from greenarrows, not silverarrows.
2. The sprite.png's height is larger than it needs to be.
3. The opacity of .galleryformatter-silverarrows .slide-button is set too light, 0.2 is barely visible for these arrows (accessibility/usability).

DRIVE CreditAttribution: DRIVE commentedIs it necessary for a contributed theme to have source images?
If so, is it necessary to be in SVG format?
Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commentedIt isnt necessary as per say (the GPL doesnt require it), but I like doing it as a to help people create their own based on existing ones. Your choice =)

MrPhilbert CreditAttribution: MrPhilbert commentedThank you for the feed-back. It really helps to have someone else look at it.
I made the changes to the opacity as per recommendation and changed the magnifying glass as well.
I did not change the svg files but the png's can be edited in Fireworks as I did.
The updated file is attached.
And also, a really big thank you for this outstanding module.

DRIVE CreditAttribution: DRIVE commentedNice work MrPhilbert :) Just one comment... the next-page right of thumbnails Arrow icon has two areas of stray pixels to it's right that show up on a dark background. I installed it on a test site and it looks and works great aside from that though!
How about a Micro Gallery?? Anyone interested in something like this? Based on Greenarrows but I tweaked the sprite a little bit.
The screen cap is the body of a gallery/article page with my "micro" gallery.... BUT, the micro gallery SLIDE in view is a screen cap of a whole layout at a gallery page with MrPhilbert's Silverarrows :) Too funny! Anyway, this size probably could fit in a block nicely for a page layout that uses wide sidebars.... the carousel/next/back arrows are deliberately moved inward onto the outer left/right thumbs.....
Is this type of stuff you are looking for Manuel??

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commentedI'll review it when I get a chance (at work at the moment) MrPhilbert.
@DRIVE I dont think its a bad idea such a theme, but realy, dont limit yourself on thinking of a new design for the galleries! Oh, and let's open up a new issue for your new theme, so we can keep the conversation on topic for each review =)

MrPhilbert CreditAttribution: MrPhilbert commentedThat would be cool. What size (total, slide and thumbs)?

MrPhilbert CreditAttribution: MrPhilbert commentedThanks Drive. You have keen eyesight.
Here it is again and without the svg files.

mgwaters CreditAttribution: mgwaters commented[just realized I posted this to the wrong thread, but don't see how to delete it]
Is it possible to move the green arrows inward so that they don't extend horizontally beyond the width of the main image? I realize this would mean that the thumbnail ribbon would need to be narrower as well, but it would make the alignment of the whole gallery unit a little more cohesive, especially if I replaced the round green buttons with rectangular buttons.

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia as a volunteer commentedJust going over the (huge) issue queue here, cant believe how many of these themes were proposed. Anyway, adding the component in hope that it'll help get them found by people. I wouldnt have the time to maintain them so they probably wont get added to the repo.
