Account default fields dissapear when they are inside a group

Running into a similar problem after upgrading. I'm using hook_field_extra_fields to manage some custom fields that have been added to the node form with hook_form_alter. After upgrading the from rc2, the form fields are no longer displayed on the form. The problem seems to be stemming from the updated field_group_fields_nest code from what I can tell.

This should be fixed in #1169276: upgrade from 7.x-1.0-rc2 to 7.x-1.0 account field not showing within vertical tabs option. Marking this as to be reviewed as well.

Yep, seems to be fixed!

This most certainly not fixed as of this version. The account username and password fields disappear when in vertical and horizontal tabs and in a field set, especially when setup into tab groups and tabs.

@maxbraff : you are sure you are working on the dev version (or git), not the 1.0 ? Can you close this when it is fixed for you too?

The 1.0 version still has this problem which is the version I'm using.

I won't be working on this, I'm just reporting that the problem still exists in the 1.0 version. Choose what you want to do with this issue though.

I ran into this issue today with Field group 7.x-1.6: the account form elements are not visible when placed in a horizontal tab.

Just posting this as quick workaround for whoever needs it: changing the formatter settings of the horizontal tab to 'Open' from 'Closed' fixed it for me.
