I've played with this twice now, when I attempt to hide the label for the webcam field, it hides the image as well. When I go back and reset the label placement the image does not reappear.

I had the same behavior.

When showing display fields for the content type the field that was created shows "hidden" as its only option, If I move it around or try and hide the body field it makes the content disappear.

I understand I am using the development module of webcam. Just letting the programmer know that I am having the same issue. (Jan 29, 2012) PLUS, line 91 link_validate_url has to be changed to webcam_validate_url in two places.
