I have developed a small module which integrates the EMF and Webform modules and I would like to share with the community.

The module implements a new Webform component which allows the creator to select a set of EMF lists and link them to an email field. If the user selects one or more of the lists when submitting the form she also subscribes to the lists through EMF.

Would you prefer this as a patch to EMF or as a separate project?

kasperg: Great timing on this. I thought I'd have to write something myself. Any chance I could get a copy of your code so I integrate this module with webform? Does it work with Webform 2.x or 3.x..maybe both?

droidenator, the code is already public: https://github.com/reload/emf_webform. It is built for Webform 3.x.

This looks great! Any chance to see it for D7 soon?

We have no plans regarding updating it to Drupal 7 at the moment.

Besides I would like toget a decision regarding where to place the code on drupal.org before considering further updates.

I just started playing around with emf and emf_webform and I must say it works perfectly. Since there isn't any documentation, it took me a little bit to figure out, but now that I know how it works, its perfect, Thank you kasperg, I hope you and droidenator are able to get the code integrated, it would be a perfect addition.

Status: Active » Closed (won't fix)

Due to positive response from people here and lack of response from EMF maintainers, I've created a sandbox project for EMF webform and applied for full project status.

Please help review the module to make EMF Webform a project on Drupal.org!
