Primary and secondary links are both supported for this theme. Please check your menu settings.

Hello,

I'm facing the same issue: my second level menu doesn't appear.
I have checked the menu > settings where my main menu is selected for both (main and secondary links).
I have also checked that my links have the expanded option selected.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Hi,

Main menu and Secondary menu links are supported by this theme. I've just checked a test site of mine and it's working.

Can you please also check your theme settings at .../admin/appearance/settings/tma? Make sure the Main menu and Secondary menu checkboxes are also ticked.

Thank you,

Hi,
Set this to active again. Yes the primary and secundary menu are working.
But sub-menu items are not shown.
Like:

- houses
----house 1
----house 2

house 1 and house 2 are not showing when mouse is on houses.

Greetings, Martijn

@6:

Hi,

Your issue is different from the original post.

It sounds like you're asking about drop down submenus on mouse hover (aka suckerfish menus). Those are not supported directly by the theme. Have a look at the nice menus module.

Thank you.

My submenu items also don't show. I believe this is a bug. Only on 7.

I think the comment by Summit was intended to show how the submenu items are displayed in the 7 UI, not to show suckerfish style menus.

My main menu has sub menu items, they do not show on this theme. Oddly, the user menu seems to be rendering in the place of the submenu items, which you may see when you test.

Also note that I verified Main Menu and Secondary Menu are both selected in .../settings/tma.

@_kate_:

Your issue also is different from the original post. It looks like some sort of clash with another module, unless you've also made your own changes to the source code.

Can you either try on a vanilla new installation, or disable all your modules except for Core, and see if the problem still persists?

Also, which browser are you using?

_kate_’s picture

I'm using Firefox... 12.0. I don't have any menu-related modules, but I'll try disabling everything but core and test.

Issue repros on a clean install. The usermenu is again in the place of the submenu items.

Also see shot showing block region demo -- menu block not highlighted, maybe this is a part of the bug?

See attached screenshots.

Hi,

I think your test case is behaving the way you describe because ...

In your Menu Settings page:

.../admin/structure/menu/settings

you have the 'Source for the Main links' as the Main menu and the 'Source for the Secondary links' as the User menu. With this configuration, the second level of the 'menu bar' shows the first level of the User menu.

If you change the 'Source for the Secondary links' to also be the Main menu, you might get the behaviour you desire. Would you like to give that a try?

_kate_’s picture

The only thing I did was install, enable the theme, and enter the menu items. Is this a drupal default you are talking about that needs to be changed?

Yes, it is a Drupal core setting.

At the url .../admin/structure/menu/settings of your site.
