Have you thought to bring the 6x version of this theme up to 7x features.
Moving to 7x is just not possible for many people, maybe months or over a year away in some cases.
There are still many of the most popular mods that are still in beta with no production releases.

This issue is being closed because it is against a branch for a version of Drupal that is no longer supported.
If you feel that this issue is still valid, feel free to re-open and update it (and any possible patch) to work with the 7.x-4.x branch.
