webflo CreditAttribution: webflo commentedVIews paths are system paths. Create a path alias to translate these urls.

Gastonia CreditAttribution: Gastonia commentedHello, this is the exact question I have, so I'm reopening the issue. It wasn't clear to me how to fix this. Here is my scenario:
I have a multi lingual site - english and japanese. All of my translations are working perfectly, except the path for Views pages.
I have a Views page called News. I put this into the menu system via the Views Path and Menu UI. English is the default language, and it's working fine ... news/node-title, and when I hover over the primary menu link it says /news just as expected.
But, when I switch to Japanese and hover over the menu link, it still says '/news' and I need for it to say '/新着情報'
I have i18n views installed, and I can successfully access the translation area. But, it seems to me that there should be a content box 'path' that will allow me to specify the path name in the language of choice so that it shows up correctly in the menu.
Is this a bug? Feature request maybe?
I successfully created an alias as you suggested, but I need for that to change names dynamically based on the language. Am I missing something? How do I achieve this?
Thanks,
Blue

webflo CreditAttribution: webflo commentedI dont understand you question. What names? It's possible to restrict a path alias for only one language. Screenshot attached. I hope this helps. Maybe someone can write better documentation for that.

Gastonia CreditAttribution: Gastonia commentedah, that was a bit clearer. So, choose the language into which we want to translate the alias; choose default language as the source, type in the alias for the language we chose. Ill test that and report back with issues, if any. Thanks!
