If I click on a colorbox enabled link with image the colorbox opens, grey out the background and shows the image in Firefox 5. But if I do the same in Google Chrome I just get a black window and cannot do anything except reloading the page. There is no colorbox shown, no controls and so on - just nothing else than a black screen (not the shading grey I see in Firefox).
Latest Chrome 12.

frjo CreditAttribution: frjo commentedI have Google Chrome version 12.0.742.122 and Colorbox seems to work as it should on the Drupal 7 sites that I have built.
Do you have some public sites with this problem that I can take a look at?

hutch CreditAttribution: hutch commentedYour link works fine with Chrome 12.0.742.112 running on Ubuntu 10, also works on OS-X

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedI have tested on windows xp and 7

hutch CreditAttribution: hutch commentedYou could try changing class="colorbox-inline" to class="colorbox"
I see no reason to use colorbox-inline

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedTook this from the docs... I can try it.

frjo CreditAttribution: frjo commentedI have no problem with the HTPC image on Google Chrome version 12.0.742.122 for Mac OS X.
For a plain image you should just add a class "colorbox" as hutch suggests.
The colorbox-inline is for when you have an div-tag on the same page (hens inline) that you want to display in a Colorbox. I have noticed a lot of confusion about colorbox-inline and have tried to improve the README. Any suggestion how to formulate it better would be most welcome.

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedFixed with the class name changed. Now there is the grey background, on the bottom a black bar and the image is shown. The black bar on bottom seems still wrong.
Aside on ipad i do not see the grey background. Is this by design?
frjo CreditAttribution: frjo commentedThe only "black bar on bottom" I can see is the one from your themes footer. Since the overlay is done by opacity he background does shine through. Is that what you are seeing?
A screen dump with some comments would help I think.

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedUps i may missed that... Why is there no grey background on ipad?
frjo CreditAttribution: frjo commentedColorbox does not work perfectly with Mobile WebKit/iOS. I believe the grey background is there on the iPad but only at the top of the pages.
Test the examples at http://colorpowered.com/colorbox/.

hutch CreditAttribution: hutch commentedDoes using a mobile-aware theme help?
There are tools:

hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedI tried all the example demos and they work properly on ipad.
Scrolled to the top of my site and yes the colorbox background is on top of the page. So the position is incorrect.

lsolesen CreditAttribution: lsolesen commented@hass Can you confirm you still have issues with 1.3?
hass CreditAttribution: hass commentedRe-tested with Colorbox 1.3 and latest Chrome 19.0.1084.56 m and iPad2. Cannot repro again. As the issue seems to have been fixed in one of the releases since 1.0, marking as a fixed bug.
