I'm trying to use Aggregator to aggregate content from within my Drupal installation itself. The display of this content on stand-alone pages (/aggregator/categories/1
, etc.) is adequate, but as a block only the titles of the aggregated items are displayed. I would like to be able to configure the block to display the author (dc:creator
), publication date (pubDate
) and context (known from /aggregator/sources/N
in the source of the page that's associated with the aggregator).
In other words, something like a Views configuration UI for aggregation would be great!

SpokjeThe
aggregator
module has been removed from Core in10.0.x-dev
and now lives on as a contrib module.Issues in the Core queue about the
aggregator
module, like this one, have been moved to the contrib module queue.Comment #14

dcam CreditAttribution: dcam as a volunteer commentedAggregator has excellent Views integration. All of the extra fields that are requested here and more are available to be displayed with Views. With that in mind I don't believe that we should put more effort into extending the old Blocks. Furthermore, I'm in favor of replacing the Block plugins with Views. So for all those reasons I'm closing this issue as being outdated.
