Consider converting from job_queue scheduling to drupal_queue [#1234520]

drupal_queue is a backport of the D7 Queue API with built-in runner, like job_queue but unlike D7 core Queue API or advanced_queue (currently).

Moving to this API would facilitate D6/D7 compatibility/updates for classified_notifications submodule.

Actually, D7 core queue API includes a way to schedule workers thanks to hook_queue_info_[alter], so it makes even more sense.
