I did a little testing of this module and Memcached module, and posted the results in Post-Installation forum

Results with this module on my lightly loaded server and a fairly small and light Drulap 7 site suggested it is slowing down page execution significantly. Can anyone explain why that might be?

I have updated the above discussion, by adding AB tests. I am finding that activating the APC module slows things down so much that I have changed category from Documentation to Bug.

Solved - APC was not caching. If anyone is interested, please see thread linked above for speed tests, and explanation.
