Hi,

just received the kind Drupal BizConnect newsletter, which announces Web Ads on Drupal.org.
See the Media Kit: https://association.drupal.org/advertising/web

That page mentions in bold:

Drupal.org is the global community's home and collaboration center. It receives over 1.8 million unique visitors monthly.

But then it goes on to mention that you can only advertise on specific pages, like the Paid Services Forum, which has 25,000 visitors per month. They charge $1,500 for that, but note:

Ads rotate. Maximum of 4 ads per ad space, so each ad receives 25% of the traffic.

This means paying $1,500 for 6,250 (25% of 25K) visitors, per month! Imagine a best-case click-through ratio of 3 per 100 visitors (which is high), that's only 187 clicks for 1500$ = 8$ per click, at least. I think that's really expensive.
