In #444228: Optimize CSS option causes php cgi to segfault in pcre function "match", the question was raised which CSS hacks should be supported in the regex that optimizes CSS. Now that IE6 is no longer supported (#308865: Drop IE6 support in Drupal core), we may want to check if that regex can be improved and simplified.

Therefore, closing as outdated. If this is incorrect reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and add a comment explaining what still needs to be done.
